The Basement Surge is a general discussion comedy show out of Brooklyn, NY part of The Basement Studio Network. It was created by two best friends of 25 years, John Svedese and Frank Anselmo.  Frank has since left the show, so John has rebranded Surge to bring value to the audience with intriguing interviews and giveaways. The topics on the show include pop culture, dad life, movie reviews, podcasting and entrepreneurship to name a few. The main focus of the show is to bring some value and laughter to our audience. The guests we approach to come on the show have unique lives and interesting stories to tell. We hope to make our audience "Feel The Surge" with every episode.

We also run fundraisers for our favorite charity The Michael J. Fox Foundation For Parkinson's Research. Every year we do what's called "The Mission" where we rollerblade eight miles around Brooklyn to raise money for the foundation.
